After three weeks of searching, we found their dream home in the ideal location. It had been on the market for some time and the quoted price was well over our budget. We took our time, monitoring the interest over the next two inspections. Noting the property was having very limited serious interest, we decided to engage the agents to see if they would consider our reduced offer with good sale terms.
Our first two offers were rejected, however we persisted, knowing we were within striking distance. Our clients were able to get a little more funding and close the gap needed to get the vendors acorss the line. In the end, we were able to secure this stunning home for $250,000 less than it was initially advertised at.
