Home Buyer - Case Study

Natalia was working full time and studying in the evenings to complete her Law degree. In her spare time, she was trying to obtain finance, locate a property, and deal with selling agents so that she could purchase her first home. She planned to use this home as a future platform to build a successful property portfolio.

Initially, Natalia attended a property and finance workshop held in conjunction with an infolio finance alliance partner. It had a lock-up garage and was located in the very popular suburb of St Kilda East. The property was purchased on the Friday before the listed auction date. Natalia paid approximately 5 – 10% below what we believe it would have sold for on the day of auction, based on other comparable properties that sold at auction on that day.
